On a walk downtown to see Tom’s investment manager, we inadvertently passed by two of the movie sets for the HBO movie The Last of Us being filmed in Edmonton. The first was on 104 Street, but I couldn’t take a photograph because they were filming (I even heard someone…maybe the director, say “Action!”) The second one was on 100 Street next to the building where we had an appointment, and conveniently located right by the cafe where we were enjoying some lattes. Kinda funny to be sitting in caffeinated comfort by an apocalyptic street scene.
